Job Description

The role & it's impact:

As a Partner Success Manager, you will work directly with our most complex accounting partners across Queensland to accelerate their growth and increase revenue from their existing client base. You will challenge traditional thinking and help firms understand the true value of the full Xero ecosystem, guiding them on how to successfully embed and use Xero practice tools to drive efficiency.

In this role your focus will be facilitating sustainable growth, retention, and development within your own portfolio. By delivering education, strategic advice, and proactive guidance, you will enable partners to unlock their full potential and support Australia's small business economy.

The team & how they connect:

You will join a collaborative and high performing team of seven, reporting directly to our Manager of Partner Success and who all work together to support our partner network. This team collaborates closely with cross-functional internal teams like our Partner Consulting team, to deliver comprehensive education and seamlessly implement Xero's suite of tools within our partner practices.

Initially, you will focus on:

  • Managing a portfolio of 350 to 400 accounting firms across Queensland to drive digital strategy and increase active platform users and growth.

  • Executing a high-volume engagement strategy focused on phone-based relationship management, aiming to achieve and meet performance targets.

  • Championing retention initiatives by mitigating deletion risks and protecting a retention target through proactive education and clear value propositions.

  • Driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities by synthesising concise pitches that link our distinct product offerings together, promoting the adoption of adjacent Xero products.

  • You bring proven sales performance and a results-driven approach, with comfort working toward monthly revenue and activity targets.

  • Excellent relationship management skills are part of your toolkit, allowing you to build quick rapport and establish yourself as a trusted advisor across multiple contacts within an accounting firm.

  • You possess strong communication and public speaking abilities, enabling you to confidently present product updates and run educational events for groups of partners.

  • You have a natural curiosity for the online accounting market and the ability to comfortably navigate CRM databases.

  • High initiative and the ability to work autonomously across your territory while maintaining a proactive focus on exceeding partner expectations.
