Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, internal corporate strategy, sales operations, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience with data engineering, analysis, visualization, and SQL.
  • Experience managing rhythm of business activities, such as annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or goal setting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or business intelligence.
  • Experience leveraging problem-solving skills (e.g., financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, etc.) to problem solve, influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and evolve recommendations based on results.
  • Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reporting and presentations by audience, asking questions, and leading conversations that drive results and efficiencies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority to drive operational excellence, successful delivery of priority initiatives, process improvements, and change management.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, market, partner ecosystem and channels.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

About the job

The Google Cloud Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners and Google Cloud Consulting to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way. The Partner Ecosystem and Channels organization is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of Google Cloud's partner ecosystem to enable rapid customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Partners are a top bet for Google Cloud, and in this role, your work will have ongoing visibility with the Cloud CEO and executive GTM leadership. You will work closely with VP and executive-level stakeholders to define and implement top strategic priorities for the partner ecosystem. You will operate at the intersection of partner strategy, analytics, and business operations. You will serve as the bridge across teams, driving alignment, transparency, and operational excellence by translating data into strategy. You will solve the most complex and ambiguous strategic challenges, sourcing technical insights to drive actionable business strategies for the partner ecosystem.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $186,000-$270,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the VP of Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels, developing go-to-market strategies, solving ambiguous business issues, and supporting organizational priorities.
  • Influence executive-level decision-making around core business decisions by implementing communication frameworks and dashboards that break down information silos and ensure stakeholder visibility into ecosystem health.
  • Architect data pipelines to create a single, reliable source of truth for key performance indicators (KPIs) across the partner organization, while designing the foundational data layers required to support future AI and machine learning initiatives.
  • Write production-grade, expert-level SQL to bridge the gap between raw data and insights.
  • Execute data-driven projects focused on growth drivers, performance management, and product strategy, managing the "run of business” (i.e. dashboards, reporting and automation initiatives).
