
Partner - Strategy and Corporate Functions
Please note, this is NOT a client facing role. Will focus on working with Finance, HR and Other internal team.
Client - They are one of the Top Management Consulting Firms. This is an Internal Facing Role working closely with Founder / CEO helping organisation get ready for next phase of growth.
They are today at a revenue run rate of INR 200Cr and growing at a rate of 15-20% YoY
Core Responsibilities :
Strategic Human Resources (HR) :
- Workforce Planning : Aligning staff levels with long-term business objectives and growth forecasts.
- Culture & Transformation : Leading change management initiatives, especially during mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring.
- Talent Strategy : Overseeing high-level recruitment for "high value" positions and developing leadership succession plans.
- Compliance : Ensuring all HR practices meet national and regional labour laws to mitigate legal risks.
Financial Advisory & Oversight :
- Performance Analysis : Reviewing financial statements, revenue data, and expenditure reports to maximize profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Developing ongoing budgets and forecasting future revenue and costs to maintain financial health.
- Capital Management : Evaluating capital expansion options, such as funding, loans, or strategic investments.
- Resource Allocation : Strategically assigning funds across departments to drive operational efficiency.
Marketing & Business Development :
- Strategic Positioning : Advising on brand promotion, product placement, and market entry strategies.
- Client Engagement : Cultivating CXO-level relationships and leading client acquisition efforts to expand market share.
- Market Trends : Analyzing competitive landscapes and consumer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Multimedia Tactics : overseeing the creation and presentation of marketing proposals across various digital and traditional channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Experience : Typically requires 10 - 20 years of leadership experience in professional services or high-growth environments.
- Education : A Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or HR is essential; an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Soft Skills : High-level stakeholder management, executive presence, and the ability to influence at the board level.
Typical KPI Focus :
- Profitability & Growth : Revenue targets and P&L oversight.
- Operational Efficiency : Cost reduction and process optimization across functions.
- Talent Retention : Employee engagement scores and reduction in unwanted turnover.
