The Role:

We're looking for a Partner Marketing Manager. We partner with 1,000 employers across Australia and New Zealand, reaching over 2.3 million eligible employees. When we launch Fitness Passport at a new employer, not all of their people join at launch — uptake builds for years afterwards.

The difference between an account that keeps climbing and one that stalls isn't the product or the price. It's whether someone keeps deliberately driving sign-up momentum after the launch buzz fades. That's this role.

You'll own a rotating portfolio of 15–20 employer accounts, where you’ll deeply learn and understand each workforce, its channels and its internal dynamics, and design the specific activation plan that converts more of its people into members.

What you'll be doing:

• Prime key accounts before they sign — building custom 'activation planning’ material and joining discovery conversations with Account Executives so activation thinking is baked in from day one
• Maximise new launches — co-designing the comms plan in partnership with the employer client, writing the launch messaging and running onsite activations alongside Client Implementation Managers
• Reignite the base — designing always-on and seasonal campaigns, building workplace advocacy, and joining quarterly reviews with Client Success Managers to identify new uplift opportunities
• Track penetration, sign-up conversion and campaign ROI for key accounts, and sunset what isn't paying its way
• Manage our design agency end to end, and build a playbook library the whole commercial team draws on
• Where needed, travel nationally for key launches and activations (roughly one to two trips a month)

About You:

• Curious. Genuinely curious. You want to understand why one bank converts at twice the rate of another, and you will dig through data, talk to members and visit sites to find out
• Strategic and hands-on. You move fluidly between a quarterly account review, a tactical decision about email send timing and rolling up your sleeves to load content into an employer’s intranet yourself
• Commercially wired. You default to measurable outcomes. Awareness is not the goal; sign-ups are. You are comfortable being accountable for a number
• A seller of ideas. You can walk into a room with a Head of People, a CFO or a divisional general manager and sell in an idea, then plan it and execute it without a big team behind you
• 4–8 years in field, partner, channel, client or account-based marketing, owning outcomes at named accounts
• A track record of moving a conversion, adoption, enrolment or utilisation metric — and you can talk specifically about how
• Hands-on fluency with the channels employers actually use: intranets, internal email tools, Teams or Slack, print signage
• Experience planning onsite events or activations and managing external suppliers
• Experience briefing and managing a design agency or in-house studio
• Comfort with data — you can read a penetration dashboard and defend your numbers
• Backgrounds that tend to fit: B2B2C platforms, employee benefits or health insurance, membership and loyalty businesses, live events, or agency account management with a strong activation component.
