About the Role and Team

Working in Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, building trusted partnerships, and finding creative solutions to complex business challenges. As a Partner Manager on our Grocery team, you will manage and grow relationships with regional grocery partners, serving as a strategic advisor to help them maximize their performance on the Uber Eats platform.

In this role, you’ll own a portfolio of established, mid-market grocery partners, combining relationship management, operational execution, and commercial strategy to drive sustainable growth. You’ll use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, lead business reviews, and help partners increase visibility and customer engagement through advertising, promotions, and merchandising strategies.

Success requires strong account management skills, commercial instincts, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving marketplace. You’ll collaborate across internal teams while building relationships with key decision-makers to deliver meaningful results for our grocery partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage Strategic Partnerships: Own and grow a portfolio of regional grocery partners, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Drive Account Growth: Identify opportunities to improve partner performance, increase customer engagement, and drive revenue through advertising, promotions, and other growth initiatives.
  • Lead Business Reviews: Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs), analyze account performance, and develop actionable recommendations to support long-term partner success.
  • Deliver Data-Driven Insights: Leverage sales trends, marketplace performance, and operational metrics to identify opportunities, address challenges, and optimize partner results.
  • Support Operational Excellence: Partner with operations, marketing, product, and engineering teams to resolve issues related to catalog management, merchandising, platform integrations, and the overall partner experience.
  • Influence and Collaborate: Build relationships with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority, including marketing leaders and senior decision-makers, to align on business priorities and drive results.
  • Navigate Challenges: Proactively address partner concerns, changing market dynamics, and competitive pressures while identifying solutions that strengthen relationships and improve performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or sales within the grocery, retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or a closely related consumer-facing industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing strategic partner relationships, engaging senior-level stakeholders, and influencing business decisions to drive account growth.
  • Experience leading quarterly business reviews (QBRs), presenting performance insights, and developing strategic account plans.
  • Experience analyzing business performance data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience working with grocery retailers, regional grocery chains, or grocery-related consumer brands.
  • Experience driving incremental revenue through advertising, promotional programs, upselling, or other commercial initiatives.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising, retail media networks, or e-commerce marketplaces.
  • Experience with merchant catalog management, platform integrations, or third-party technology providers such as Olo, Otter, or Toast.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and proactively solve complex partner challenges.
