The Forensic Family Partner is a peer specialist who draws from their own experience of the Juvenile Justice System to provide support and services to families enrolled in the Texas Correction Office on Offenders with Medical or Mental Impairments Juvenile Program. The Forensic Family Partner will be a past or current caregiver of a youth that has successfully completed or will complete Juvenile Probation. Forensic Family Partners are very knowledgeable of the mental health field as well as the Justice System and will assist families, particularly parents and/or caregivers, with the re-integration of their sentenced youth back into the community.

Metrocare serves over 50,000 people annually. We provide adult mental healthcare services, children and adolescent mental healthcare services, developmental disability services for adults and children, early childhood intervention services, primary healthcare services for families, pharmacy services, and social services that include housing services, occupational services, suicide prevention, and much more.
OUR CLINICS
We have locations across Dallas County. In addition to our 10 main mental health clinics and over 20 satellite clinics, we also have two Centers for Children with Autism in Dallas and DeSoto. We are expanding our reach every year!
