Job Description

Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits.

More than half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future. Too often, it’s because they are employed by a company that doesn’t offer a retirement plan. Human Interest is changing that by making it affordable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses to offer employees a path to financial independence through retirement savings.

We’re a high-growth fintech company changing the retirement industry. We are backed by a number of investors. This includes funding from Marshall Wace and Baillie Gifford, as well as top investors such as BlackRock, TPG (The Rise Fund), SoftBank, Glynn Capital, NewView Capital, USVP, Wing, Uncork, and more.

About the role

Human Interest, the Retirement Industry Disruptor, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Partner Development Representative (PDR) to join our dynamic team based out of our beautiful office in Lindon, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting into existing, aged partnerships and generating net new relationships across a variety of proven segments, including Payroll, Benefits Brokers, CPAs, and Accountants. Your primary focus will be booking quality meetings at scale with key stakeholders to fuel our tremendous growth and set up your counterparts in the field—Partner Account Managers (PAMs)—for success.

What you get to do every day

  • Responsible for generating high-quality meetings from a strategic mix of net new relationships and reactivated relationships across our core segments.
  • Proactively conduct high-volume outbound calls and emails to existing, aged partnerships and new prospects to drive engagement and schedule meetings for field Partner Account Managers.
  • Partner closely with assigned Partner Account Managers to develop and execute comprehensive territory growth plans, identifying and cultivating deep alignment within key partner channels (Payroll, Benefits Brokers, CPAs, and Accountants).
  • Design and execute targeted prospecting and nurturing campaigns using Outreach and Salesforce to maximize conversion.
  • Effectively articulate our unique value proposition as an industry disruptor, demonstrating exactly how Human Interest is best positioned to partner with them today and into the future compared to legacy providers.
  • Monitor, maintain, and present an accurate pipeline of booked meetings and prospective partnerships to the Inside Sales & Emerging Markets leadership team.
  • Serve as a highly responsive, professional first point of contact for external partners inquiring about how a Human Interest alignment can add value to their clients.
  • Maintain meticulous, detailed records of all sales activities, partner interactions, and outreach progress within Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Drive continuous follow-up activities, including distributing marketing materials, co-branded collateral, and scheduling documentation.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3 years of sales or business development experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline, outbound activity, or meeting-generation goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial, operational, or partnership advantages clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in Salesforce and Outreach.
  • No fear of the phone — you bring high energy to making numerous outbound connections every week.
  • Highly energetic self-starter with a strong, self-motivated work ethic.
  • Team-oriented mentality with the ability to collaborate fluidly with field counterparts and internal stakeholders.
  • Resilience and the adaptability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or channel/partner sales environments is a plus.
  • Completed coursework or participation in College-Level Professional Sales Programs is a significant bonus.
  • Experience navigating relationships with professional intermediaries like brokers, accountants, or payroll providers.
