Job Description

This is a remote position. Location: Remote flexible time zones , Because the company works with creators across the globe, scheduling is flexible. Candidates interested in working a specific number of hours can discuss their preferred availability so calls can be scheduled accordingly. Role Type: Initially 3 Months contract whether Full-time or Part-time Contractor, with the opportunity to scale to Full-time long-term based on performance . Reports to: The client’s Partner/Sales team The opportunity You will guide creators through the company’s process using a prepared Google Slides presentation, answer questions, and build trust throughout the conversation. The role is focused on delivering clear, warm, and confident conversations rather than aggressive selling . A dedicated Sales Rep team supports you throughout the process by vetting creators, scheduling meetings, and handling follow-up activities such as contracts. Y our primary focus will be creating a strong and trustworthy experience during the partner call. About the Organization Our client is a rapidly growing company that works with creators and organizations to develop custom physical products, including plush toys, figures, and collectibles. Their partners include creative businesses and communities such as video game studios, animators, podcasters, and non-profit organizations. The company manages the process end to end, including product design, production, and fulfillment, allowing creators to bring new product ideas to their audiences without upfront production costs. The organization is scaling quickly, with recent campaigns growing significantly in size. The client name will be shared with shortlisted candidates before the client interview. What you will do Host camera-on Zoom calls with potential partners from around the world. Present and explain the company’s process clearly using a prepared Google Slides deck. Build rapport and establish trust with potential partners during initial conversations. Answer questions confidently and thoughtfully, including questions that arise unexpectedly during calls. Help address concerns or skepticism from creators who may be unfamiliar with the company or its business model. Explain processes and next steps in a simple, professional, and easy-to-understand way. Adapt your communication style to different creators, personalities, and levels of familiarity with the process. Maintain a warm, professional, and reassuring presence throughout each interaction. Coordinate with the Sales Rep team and other internal team members to ensure a smooth partner experience. Manage scheduled calls reliably across different time zones. Keep calendars and meeting schedules organized and up to date. Learn and use tools such as HubSpot, Zoom, Gmail, and Google Calendar. Communicate relevant information from partner conversations to support the broader team. Follow established processes and presentation materials while using good judgment when responding to partner questions. Represent the organization professionally and consistently in every partner interaction. Requirements What you bring Fluent English, with native or near-native spoken English. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly and naturally. Confidence in presenting live on camera and speaking with people you have not met before. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport and trust. A warm, friendly, and professional communication style. Ability to answer questions spontaneously and remain composed when conversations move beyond the prepared presentation. Strong listening skills and the ability to understand and respond appropriately to different concerns. Professional judgment and the ability to communicate with potential partners in a reassuring and credible manner. Strong organization and reliability, particularly when managing calls across multiple time zones. Ability to learn new tools and workflows quickly. Comfortable working remotely and coordinating with a distributed team. Ability to follow established processes while remaining flexible and personable in live conversations. Helpful, but not essential Previous experience in sales, business development, customer success, account management, recruiting, consulting, or another customer-facing role. Experience presenting products, services, or processes through Zoom or other video conferencing platforms. Experience working with international customers or partners across multiple time zones. Experience using HubSpot, Zoom, Gmail, or Google Calendar. Experience working in a remote or asynchronous environment. Familiarity with creator-focused industries such as gaming, animation, podcasting, or non-profits. Experience handling customer or prospect concerns and building trust during initial conversation. How the engagement works The hiring process begins with a conversation with Apricot to discuss your experience, communication style, availability, and mutual expectations. Candidates may be asked to participate in a practical assessment or mock partner call to demonstrate their ability to present information clearly, communicate naturally on camera, answer questions, and build trust with a potential partner. For a contractor engagement, your work will be based on the agreed scope, schedule, and deliverables. You are expected to provide your own laptop and basic equipment, maintain reliable internet connectivity, and have a professional environment suitable for camera-on partner calls. If you contract through Apricot, planned check-ins will be conducted to see how the engagement is working and help address any issues.
