We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Associate - Shipping to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders. You will ensure that orders are packed, and shipped correctly, maintaining high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and review incoming orders via pick team.
Accurately inventory handed off items from shelves based on packing slips or digital scanner instructions or desktop PC.
Pack goods securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
Weigh packages and print/slap shipping labels (UPS, FedEx, USPS) as instructed via shipping instructions.
Update order status in the system.
Maintain accurate records of shipments.
Communicate with the management team regarding pick errors and abnormalities.
QualificationsEducation and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment experience preferred; entry-level candidates welcome.
Basic computer skills (web navigation, email, data entry).
Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Experience with MS Office Suite, Worldship, ShipHawk, WMS systems and ERP systems.
Ability to read and comprehend shipping documents and inventory lists.
Prioritize workload and complete assigned tasks
Job Type: Part-time
Expected Hours: 2:00 – 6:00 pm Mondays - Fridays
Pay: $16.00/hour
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
