What You'll Do:
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and patients, helping ensure a smooth and positive experience from check-in to check-out.
- Greet clients and pets with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
- Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to client inquiries
- Schedule appointments and obtain accurate patient histories
- Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions
- Verify patient vaccination records, testing status, and medical information
- Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with veterinarians and veterinary technicians
- Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter product orders as directed by veterinarians
- Maintain accurate medical records and data entry within veterinary software systems
- Support daily front desk operations and administrative tasks
- Assist with additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous veterinary receptionist, medical receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds when necessary
- Availability to work weekends as needed
