As a Trainee Audiology practitioner, you will be an integral member of the team and the first point of contact for our customers and once you have completed the relevant training you will be able to perform clinical activities along the customer pathway, a key part of this qualification will be Repair & Rehabilition as well as Wax Removal using microsuction techniques.
Our business
You will be based in the Oban Hearcare store, but you will also cover the store in Fort William, so a driving license is essential. The first 4 weeks of training will take place in the Greenock Store, so please be aware of this before applying.

What we’re looking for?
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and to progress in Audiology with previous experience in a healthcare / Retail / Customer facing setting preferred but not essential.

While we don’t need you to have a degree or any specific qualifications to enrol on this programme, we do need you to have a few skills to get started here. Firstly, you’ll need to have good written and verbal English skills, so we know you can communicate effectively with our customers and colleagues. You’ll also need to have a keen interest in self-development, desire to further your skills, and then ideally a fluency in use of patient management systems such (but don’t worry if you don’t have that last one).
