Help create a welcoming, organized, and supportive testing experience for students. The Part-Time Testing Proctor works closely with the Testing Center Coordinator to ensure exams are administered accurately, securely, and according to established procedures. This position is an important point of contact for students and requires a balance of attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service.
Responsibilities include preparing and organizing testing materials, monitoring student testing reservations, and proctoring exams in a courteous and consistent manner. The position provides students with clear instructions, maintains secure testing procedures and accurate records, and supports individual testing accommodations for students with disabilities. The Testing Proctor also responds to questions, manages testing materials and information, and works independently to keep testing sessions running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with students and other members of the college community. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to explain procedures clearly, maintain confidentiality, and follow established protocols consistently. The ideal candidate can remain calm and professional in a structured testing environment, use good judgment when addressing questions or unexpected situations, and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision. A positive, service-oriented approach and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of students and community members are key to success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications
An Associate’s degree and a minimum of one-year full-time related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Strong attention to detail, ability to direct groups of students effectively through precise testing procedures, and a positive approach to customer service is required.
Starting pay range: $16.46 - $18.93
Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: Tues-Thurs 8:00-12:00, Fri 9:30-1:30, 16 hours per week with summer, winter, spring breaks off
