TCCSOCCENTFSR:

Nightwingis seeking a Part time(PT)employee to work as a Technical Collections and Communications (TCC) Field Service Representative in support of a DoD contract providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCOM effortsin the SOCCENT AOR Responsibilities include assisting with various tasks like equipment installation, system configuration and maintenance. You should also be able totroubleshootsystems,identifyproblemsandwritereports.Requires travel overseas.

This is a OCONUS PT position with 90 days on and 90 daysoff in the SOCCENT/CENTCOM AOR.

* All candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Mentor andadvicesenior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs)forutilizingTactical Advanced Sensors (TAS)equipment

• Assistin the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs)for employingTASdevices based on equipment capabilities and other critical factors.

• Providetechnicalexpertiseand support in testing and installing audio and video server applications

• Coordination withNWheadquarters for specialized program support

• Provide technicalexpertiseand operationalperspective for new equipment and integration efforts.

• Conduct research and develop best practices.

Required Skills: 

• Must have an ActiveTop SecretClearance SCI 

• Retired or former Special Operations soldier 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity

• Recent combat experience

• Experience with technical information collection equipment to supportcurrent SOCCENT/CENTCOMobjectives

• Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as:Osprey, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Printability

• Must be able to travel independently andoperatefor periods of time without supervision

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration

• Good understanding of computer systems, mobiledevicesand other technical products

• Time-management skills and the ability toestablishreasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution

• Must be able to carry a 35-pound load with noassistance

• CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit

Desired Skills: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills

• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with management, customers, and employees

• Skill in various fabrication techniques, such as metal work,fiber glass,additive/subtractivemanufacturingand associated CNC software

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Active and transferable U.S.government issued security clearance isrequiredprior to start date.  U.S. citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
