
St. Joseph School Cockeysville is seeking an experienced, part-time Math Resource Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year The successful applicant should demonstrate a solid knowledge of mathematics education and possess teaching experience in a PreK–8 environment. Responsibilities include assessing instructional strategies, evaluating curriculum, and ensuring that students reach their full potential, particularly those in need of advanced or remedial instruction. Additionally, the candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent time management and organizational abilities. This is a part-time position, with scheduled workdays on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Essential Functions:
Provide small-group instruction to elementary students to increase math fluency.
Maintain classroom management and fulfill all duties assigned to this teacher.
Participate as a member of the faculty in all meetings and activities.
Collaborate with school leadership and the broader faculty to foster a positive culture throughout the building.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
MSDE certification required.
Knowledgeable in technology use and integration.
Knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods and strategies, and curriculum differentiation.
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
Pay Range: $20,000 - $40,000, Annualized
