Job Description

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, this position plays a key role in preparing and serving high‑quality food and beverages in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment. This position helps enhance the overall guest experience by consistently delivering friendly service, maintaining product quality, and supporting cash‑handling, inventory, and cleanliness standards. Stand Attendants work as part of a team to exceed guest expectations and contribute to service excellence standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests.
  • Contribute to a welcoming and energetic environment through positive interactions.
  • Communicate menu items, ingredients, and promotions as required.
  • Ensure guest expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Support a fun, engaging, and guest‑focused atmosphere.
  • Address guest questions or concerns promptly and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain full compliance with Smart Serve and AGCO regulations.
  • Prepare and serve concession food items according to established methods, machinery, and sanitation standards.
  • Prepare non-alcoholic beverages, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and inventory levels to support ongoing service demands.
  • Operate concession equipment safely and correctly.
  • Support cash‑handling duties including tendering, float verification, and POS transactions.
  • Maintain accurate math calculations during cash, payment, and inventory processes.
  • Keep all work areas clean, sanitized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and well‑stocked workstation.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements, including safe food handling practices.
  • Support fellow team members to ensure efficient, smooth operations.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and performance.
  • Must be available to workdays, evenings and weekends
  • Proven ability to deal professionally and courteously with customers
  • Thorough understanding of methods and machinery, techniques and sanitation practices involved with preparation and service of concession food.
  • Working knowledge of cash register and tendering procedures
  • Proven accuracy in performing basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
  • Working knowledge of Safe Food Handling Procedures and Health and Safety Practices an asset
  • Responsible for obtaining and maintaining Smart Serve certification
  • Regular kitchen environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, major exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, odors, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, some exposure to fumes, smoke, chemicals, risk of minor cuts and burns, non-traditional work hours
  • Available to work all shifts, including evening and weekend as required.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be available to workdays, evenings and weekends
  • Proven ability to deal professionally and courteously with customers
  • Thorough understanding of methods and machinery, techniques and sanitation practices involved with preparation and service of concession food.
  • Working knowledge of cash register and tendering procedures
