Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel guests, associates, and visitors.
• Conduct routine patrols of hotel public areas, entrances, parking areas, and other designated locations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, and guest concerns.
• Enforce hotel policies regarding property access, safety, and security.
• Document incidents, unusual activities, and security concerns in detailed written reports.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, evacuations, and coordination with emergency services when necessary.
• Provide a visible security presence while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Assist hotel management with investigations involving lost property, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
• Identify potential safety hazards and report maintenance or security concerns promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Work closely with front desk staff, hotel management, and other departments to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Previous security, loss prevention, or related experience preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate incident reports.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance.
• Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• CPR, First Aid, or other relevant safety certifications are a plus.
