An international freight forwarding and customs clearing organization is seeking a highly organised, articulate, and proactive
Virtual Assistant (VA) for Sales & Lead Generation for 5 hours a month to start
. This micro-contract role focuses on the initial stages of the business development lifecycle—converting cold lead lists into qualified corporate meetings.
Operating entirely remotely with total schedule flexibility, you will serve as an outbound lead generation agent and administrative support to the sales function. The ideal candidate will possess a confident telephone presence capable of navigating corporate gatekeepers to reach supply chain, procurement, and logistics decision-makers. This is a highly focused role requiring meticulous diary coordination and clean data management.
Outbound Cold Calling:
Actively call pre-defined corporate lead lists to introduce international freight forwarding and customs clearing services.
Appointment Setting:
Pitch the organization's logistics solutions to key decision-makers and secure high-value sales meetings.
Diary Organisation:
Efficiently manage and coordinate calendars using
Google Calendar
to schedule meetings smoothly across time zones.
Market Research:
Conduct basic market research to identify high-potential shipping and supply chain prospects to expand current lead lists.
Data & Pipeline Management:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date tracking logs and create basic sales reports using
Microsoft Excel
spreadsheets.
Administrative Support:
Provide regular summaries and feedback on call outcomes to the management team.
Proven experience in
Cold Calling, Telesales, B2B Lead Generation, or Appointment Setting
.
High proficiency in
Google Calendar
and
Microsoft Excel
for tracking and diary management.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, confident, and business-focused telephone manner.
Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail when logging call outcomes and creating sales reports.
Highly disciplined and comfortable working completely independently within a micro-hours structure.
Prior experience within the logistics, freight forwarding, maritime, supply chain, or customs clearing sectors.
Existing comfort navigating corporate gatekeepers to reach Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations Directors.
