AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Dr. Amy Moore in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Penn State is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented individual for a part-time position to assist with research projects on nutrition, health, and well-being in community-based settings, particularly among families in rural communities. This position provides hands-on research experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the development of research materials, including the design and review of intervention and recruitment materials and data collection instruments.
Assist with data collection and maintaining research records, including detailed spreadsheets and data tracking systems.
Conduct searches of and document scientific literature related to lab research projects.
Participate in community-engaged activities with the research team.

Preference will be given to someone with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
