Soccer Coach – Preschool Aged Children | Part-Time | Essex & Union Counties, NJ

Location: Essex & Union Counties, New Jersey
Schedule: Part-time, 20–25 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM (no evenings or weekends)

About Soccer Shots


Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized children’s soccer program focused on building confidence, teamwork, and character in kids ages 2–8. Our fun, high-energy soccer classes take place at preschools, daycares, and parks throughout Essex and Union Counties, NJ. We use a proven curriculum and caring coaches to make a real impact on and off the field.




We’re hiring enthusiastic, reliable, and kid-focused soccer coaches to lead 30–40 minute sessions for young children. This role is perfect for teachers, early childhood educators, youth sports coaches, camp counselors, and caregivers who love working with kids and staying active. No competitive coaching experience required—just a passion for sports, teaching, and having fun!

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for children ages 2–8
  
  
• Travel to schools, childcare centers, and park locations across Essex & Union Counties
  
  
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff
  
  
• Follow our curriculum while adding your own creativity and enthusiasm
  
  
• Represent Soccer Shots as a positive role model and ambassador
  
  

Qualifications

• Required:
  
  
  • Experience working with children ages 2–8 (teaching, coaching, childcare, camp, etc.)
    
    
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
    
    
  • Basic knowledge of soccer rules and gameplay
    
    
  • Weekday availability between 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
    
    
• Preferred:
  
  
  • Background in early childhood education, physical education, youth sports, or recreation
    
    
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
    
    
  • Outgoing, energetic, and dependable personality

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
