Position Overview:

To assist with daily tasks of the Post Closing Services department while also learning Post Closing processes. To gain a better understanding of the loan origination process within the Credit Union.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • (25 %) Develop understanding of Credit Union Post Closing policies and procedures
  • (25%) Process incoming mail for originated and loan files and prepare for Imaging
  • (25 %) Complete audits on loan files
  • (25%) Complete additional duties as assigned by management

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

  • Must be professional, friendly and courteous at all times and in all interactions with branch personnel, co-workers, and third parties.
  • Must have accurate typing skills and the ability to concentrate on required duties Minimum direct years of experience
  • Must possess an independent work ethic as well as excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a “team” player and exemplify a helpful attitude to provide assistance to others as needed
  • Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers.
  • Must adhere to the work schedule and attendance policy set by management.
  • Must be able to comprehend telephone calls.
  • Must be able to speak English fluently.

Job Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Office setting with physical proximity to other employees.
  • Some background noise from other employees, fax machines, and telephones.
  • Must be able to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions
  • Job requires a substantial amount of sitting and viewing a computer screen
  • Use hands and fingers to press keys on a computer keyboard to enter and retrieve information.
  • Use hands and fingers to press telephone keypad and lift telephone receiver.
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
