Thefollowing DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIESarecentraltothe role:
• Managepatientschedulingincludingdiscussingpatientrequirements,confirmingpatientdetails,andscheduling appointments in alignment with provider requirements
• Fosterpatientsatisfactionandimproveclinic productivity
• Insuranceverifications&prior authorizations
• Maintainandfosterstrategicvendorrelationshipsincludinginvoicing department
• Maintainpatientrecords&managepatient charts
• Inventorymanagementinelectronicmedicalrecords system
• Extensivecustomerserviceutilizingemail,phonecalls,textmessages,andin-person interactions
• Processhearingaidorders,cleanings,and repairs
• Assist audiology team with other audiology aid functions
• HIPAAcomplianceand ethics
• Assistoperationswithoffice management
• Community outreach and office marketing
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment by completing routine office upkeep and cleaning responsibilities
Toensuresuccess,candidatesshouldalsopossessthefollowing EXPERIENCE& SKILLS
• Minimum 1 year sales or customer services experience
• Proficiency in insurance verifications, authorizations, and other required patient benefit determination
• Demonstratedexperiencebuildingstrongpositiverelationshipswithpatients,strategicvendors,andcommunity members
• Anabilitytocommunicateverballyandinwritingwithutmost clarity
• ProficiencywithMicrosoftOfficesuiteof products
• ProficiencywithGoogleSuiteof products
• HighSchool Diploma
• BusinessschoolorAssociatedegree preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
