PRN / Part-Time Patient Access Representative
(2 Days a week)

In this PRN role, you’ll support front-office operations, assist patients through the registration process, and help ensure a smooth, welcoming experience from start to finish.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Answer phones, take messages, return calls, and document accurately in the EMR
- Register patients and update demographic information as needed
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain copies of insurance cards
- Educate patients on procedure prep, insurance requirements, and billing processes
- Communicate financial responsibilities and assist with required forms
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Schedule patient appointments according to established procedures
- Balance daily financial registers and post payments
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties
- Ensure the reception area is prepared for each day
- Assist with opening and securing the facility as needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
