**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental practice. The Orthodontic Assistant will work under the supervision of orthodontists to provide support during patient visits, procedures, and treatments.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- X-ray certification
- Experience working in a dental office, preferably in orthodontics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist orthodontists during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Ensure a clean and sterile environment
- Schedule patient appointments and follow up on treatment plans
**Schedule:**
This is a part-time position, with flexible hours based on the needs of the dental practice. Hours may include evenings and weekends.

The management team is located in Denver, Colorado at the Smile Center. They provide high quality services through our subject matter experts in non-clinical operations. This includes: accounting and finance, legal, human resources, marketing, compliance, IT and recruiting.
