As an Optometrist with St. Clair Eye, you’ll focus on delivering thoughtful, personalized care that helps patients feel informed and supported throughout their visit. You’ll provide comprehensive eye examinations, routine vision care, diagnosis and management of ocular conditions, personalized treatment plans, and prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses as appropriate. You’ll also educate patients on their eye health and preventative care while working closely with opticians and administrative staff to create a smooth, patient-centered experience. This part-time role is approximately 15–20 hours per week, with doctors seeing an average of 25 patients on a full day and 15 patients on a half day. You’ll have access to advanced technology, including a phoropter, autorefractor, lensometer, Optos, OptoMap, slit lamp, tonometer, and OptiLight, to support the care you provide.
You’re a licensed Optometrist in Michigan who brings strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care. You value accuracy, professionalism, and dependable follow-through, and you’re comfortable working in a private-practice setting where teamwork and personalized service matter. You enjoy connecting with patients of all ages, collaborating with opticians, technicians, and administrative team members, and contributing to a positive experience that supports long-term eye health. A Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program, a current Michigan optometry license in good standing, and a commitment to continuous learning will help you succeed in this role.
