Cashier and Deli Opening Associate (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Open the store and deli area at the beginning of each shift, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for operation
• Greet customers warmly, assist with their purchases, and handle transactions accurately at the cash register
• Prepare and serve deli items according to company standards, maintaining cleanliness and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the checkout area and deli station
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
• Restock shelves, deli items, and supplies as needed throughout the shift
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or deli operations preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
