Job Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology is searching for part-time Clinical Associates at 10% effort for renewable terms of up to one year. Appointees will be based at UChicago Medicine Hyde Park and will have clinical responsibilities in Neuro-Oncology. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is paid per clinic day. These positions are benefits ineligible.

The Department of Neurology at the University of Chicago has a long history of excellence. Appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty, physicians, and learners and will have the opportunity to collaborate widely across the Biological Sciences Division (BSD), UChicago Medicine, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates.

Appointees will join a multidisciplinary team in brain tumor therapeutics comprised of established clinicians in neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology. Clinical responsibilities will span outpatient clinic and inpatient consult service.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in neurology, 4) be board certified or board eligible in neurology, and 5) have completed a neuro-oncology fellowship and be UCNS neuro-oncology eligible or certified.
