Part Time Nanny

We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Rolesville, NC (27571)
A warm and welcoming family in Rolesville, NC is seeking a caring, calm, and nurturing nanny to provide afternoon care for their two children beginning this fall. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, enjoys engaging children in play and outdoor activities, and respects the family’s preference for a low-screen-time environment.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:30pm–4:30pm
Start Date: August 3
Length of Position: Long-term, ongoing
Rate: $20 per hour
2 Children: 3.5 and 2 years old
Responsibilities
- Pick up both children from school using the family vehicle
- Safely drive children home from school (approximately 17-minute drive)
- Support afternoon nap/rest time as needed
- Engage children in age-appropriate play and activities
- Encourage outdoor play and active engagement
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Maintain a calm, nurturing, and positive environment
- Follow family preferences regarding no screen time (unless children are sick)
- Respect family privacy preferences, including no photos of the children
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience with similar age groups
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving children in the family vehicle
- CPR certified (or willing to obtain certification)
- Able to pass background, social media, and motor vehicle checks
- Must provide 2 references from paid childcare-related experience
- Bilingual is a plus
- Calm, patient, and nurturing caregiving style preferred
Compensation + Benefits
This position is $20 per hour with guaranteed 16 hours per week for ongoing, long-term care.
