Are you an early riser looking to earn extra income while making a difference in your community? We have the perfect opportunity for you! One Vision is seeking dependable, energetic individuals to join our Wellness Center team as Part-Time Lifeguards, with shifts starting bright and early at 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
In this role, you'll do more than just guard a pool-you'll bring a little joy and safety to every splash, greeting residents of Glen Oaks and individuals receiving One Vision services with a smile and dependable support.
Open the pool facility and maintain a clean, safe environment
Build positive relationships with community members and visitors
Monitor pool and spa areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness
Perform water testing and record results accurately
Keep locker rooms and poolside areas neat and welcoming
Be the go-to person for swim lessons, birthday parties, and more
No lifeguard certification? No problem! We'll train you in CPR, First Aid, and help you earn your Lifeguard Certification at no cost.
Must be 16 years or older
Strong swimming skills, including:
Swim 300 yards (freestyle and breaststroke)
Tread water for 2 minutes without hands
Retrieve a 10-pound object from 7-10 feet and swim it back in under 1 min 40 sec
Dependability is key - facility opens at 6:00 a.m. sharp
Willingness to complete CPR/First Aid training
Previous experience (or personal familiarity) with individuals with disabilities is a plus
Part-Time shifts available:
Weekdays: 6am-10am, 10am-2pm, 2pm-5pm, 5pm-8pm
Weekends: Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-5pm (including birthday parties and lessons)
