Johnson County Library seeks engaged, qualified candidates to fill the position of Program Services Specialist The Program Services Specialist serves as a support resource of the Johnson County Library Program Department, helping to implement and deliver programs through the logistical coordination and delivery of a program and its related activities. This individual is responsible for understanding program plans and intended outcomes established within the comprehensive Library program plan, and adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and standards when delivering programs. Minimum Job Requirements:
60 hours of college credit in any field of study is required.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in any field of study is preferred. Two (2) years of experience in public or interactive presentations or program delivery is also preferred.
Education/Experience Substitutions:
Experience may be substituted for education.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:
Lifting up to 25 pounds.
Local travel required up to 25% of the time.
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
