
The English Department at Tufts University invites applications for a part-time lecturer in fiction writing at the introductory level. Expertise in a second genre is welcome. Teaching will be in person. Expected teaching load is two workshop sections per semester, starting in Spring 2027.
MFA in fiction or relevant Ph.D. degree required. Publication record and successful teaching experience at the college level required.
Application materials should be submitted through Interfolio apply.interfolio.com/189711 and should include: a cover letter addressed to the Tufts Department of English with details about teaching experience; CV; writing sample of no more than 15 pages; a sample syllabus for an introductory fiction writing workshop; and three letters of recommendation uploaded directly by recommenders to Interfolio.
