The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) of the University of Louisville’s J.B. Speed School of Engineering invites applications for part-time lecturer positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate power systems courses. These courses may include, but are not limited to, Power System Analysis, Advanced Power Systems, and related topics in electric power engineering.

A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with substantial professional experience in electric power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution, or system reliability, along with demonstrated ability to mentor, train, or teach students in technical settings.

Ideal candidates will have industry experience with power system operations, analysis, protection, or project management, and a strong interest in supporting student learning and professional development. Prior instructional, training, or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
