
About the Opportunity
Individuals are sought to teach graduate courses in science and technology relevant to the bioinformatics field. Courses include primarily biological science courses with minor algorithmic components and primarily programming courses with a focus on bioinformatics methods. Such graduate courses seek experienced bioinformatics, biotech, and data science professionals with a desire to teach for the Bioinformatics Professional Science Master’s (PSM) Program depending upon the programs’ needs and enrollment.

Part-time instructors work under the direction of the director with support from a faculty lead and will hold office hours as appropriate.

Note for STEM OPT Participants:
This position may not satisfy the 20-hour per week minimum required to maintain compliance with STEM OPT guidelines. For example, a four-credit course typically involves an estimated weekly commitment of 13.5 hours, which falls short of the required threshold.
