About the Role
The Part-Time Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating a refrigerated box truck and delivering fresh floral products to customers throughout the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre region and surrounding areas. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do
• Safely operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck to complete assigned delivery routes
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of fresh flowers and floral products to customers within a 125-mile radius of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area
• Provide professional and courteous customer service while building positive customer relationships
• Load and unload products while maintaining product quality and organization
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure equipment is in safe working condition
• Follow assigned routes and use GPS/navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F) and to lift, carry, and move products up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. The position also requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing in and out of a box truck, and extended driving periods.
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation & Benefits (What’s in it for you)
The expected hourly rate for this position is listed above. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
In addition, employees may be eligible to participate in our quarterly safety incentive program, with the opportunity to earn up to $1,500 annually.
Please note: This is a part-time position and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
Other Information
• Onsite role based out of our Wilkes-Barre, PA distribution facility
• Part-time schedule; Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays required
• Start time: 3:00 AM until route completion
• This position primarily provides coverage for vacations, employee call-outs, and seasonal volume increases, with schedules based on operational needs
• Local travel required throughout the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre region and surrounding delivery areas

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 2+ years of professional driving experience operating commercial vehicles (16-foot box trucks or larger preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required)
• Acceptable driving record (reviewed periodically)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to effectively use GPS and navigation tools for route management
• Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented approach
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
