Job Description

On behalf of our client, Manpower (IWSL) is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper. In this role, you will assist with basic food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

• Wash dishes, pots, and pans manually or using a dishwasher

• Take out trash and recycling, and ensure proper waste disposal

• Receive and store deliveries of food and supplies

• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an asset but not required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot, and busy environment

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
