CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Surveying and Geomatics (SUR) courses, primarily in an on-ground format. Teaching assignments will include college-level Surveying and Geomatics courses, based on departmental needs.
Core Responsibilities
Teach college-level courses in the field.
Develop syllabi and course materials in accordance with college policy.
Maintain records, submit grades, and communicate with department and college personnel using established college/department protocol and college's learning management system.
Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
Required Qualifications
An active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
Three or more years experience in the field of Land Surveying.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce.
Salary
$925.00 per credit hour. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester.
