
The Department of Religious Studies at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications to teach courses during 2026-2027 academic year from the following list:
Other areas in Religious Studies may be considered. A total of ten courses from the above list of courses will be offered across the fall and winter terms of the 2026-27 academic year, depending on the areas of specialization of the successful applicants. Each part time instructor can teach a maximum of four courses per academic year.
**Preference will be given to those willing to teach in person.
Applications, including cover letter (indicating which courses you are qualified to teach, and whether you are willing to teach in person), a curriculum vitae, and evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., sample syllabi, a statement of teaching philosophy, teaching evaluations) should be addressed to:
