Job Description

The Department of Adult Education in the Faculty of Education invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor for the following course:

Course Number and Title: ADED 585 - Planning Programs for Adults

Course Description: This course focuses on a core area of adult education, program planning theory and practice. The same social, cultural, political and economic factors that influence other human social endeavours are found in program planning; complex planning processes both influence and are influenced by various contexts, behaviours, locations and purposes. Students will engage with program planning’s main theorists and practitioners and will be encouraged to apply theoretical understandings to their practice and in working in diverse contexts and learning communities

Start and End Dates: July 6 - August 14 (subject to final budgetary approval)

Class Schedule: TBD

Delivery Mode: Online

Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD or a MAdEd with significant experience in adult education.
