
We are looking for reliable and new janitorial staff to join our team. The job description is to perform custodial work in offices, warehouses, manufacturing areas, and other building interiors.
JOB TITLE: Custodian I
PAY RATE: $14.00 per hour - PAID WEEKLY!
SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
·To perform custodial work in offices, warehouses, manufacturing areas, and other building interiors.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform cleaning task as assigned
· Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors by hand, but also using industrial vacuum cleaners, scrubbing/
buffing machines.
· Cleaning/monitoring of restrooms, entrance/lobby areas, and cafeteria. Replenish paper products throughout facility.
· Collection and disposal of recyclables and trash.
· Sometimes using ladders to dust, wash walls, cleans ceilings etc.
· Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs,
drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
· Other duties as assigned, as required.
Education and Experience Requirements
· Education: High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
· Experience: 2+ years’ custodial experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
Skills and Abilities
· Strong attention to detail, self-motivated.
· Ability to work independently, and with other Facilities Dept. personnel as a team to complete tasks on schedule.
· Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols.
· Follow the direction and assignment from direct Group
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
· Must be able to work duration of shift standing, walking, bending and reaching.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
· Must be able to prepare and use various cleaning chemicals.
