Position Summary: Completes assigned job responsibilities in cooperation with and under the direction of the Director of Human Resources and maintains agency documentation as it pertains to Siffrin Human Resource functions and applicable laws, regulations, codes, standards and agency policy and procedures. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Assists with tracking and recording of all new hires and established personnel’s training and orientation including ongoing quarterly training requirements. Participates in the interviewing process and assists in acquiring necessary information pertinent to all new hires including but not limited to references checks, drug screening and employment verifications. Completes Driver’s License checks as necessary and notifies appropriate administrative personnel of results. Assures completion of benefits application including insurance applications and records information in accordance with applicable policy, procedure and mandated requirements. Follows up to assure compliance. Monitors Siffrin’s ongoing random drug testing program to assure regularity of application and recording of results. Works with vendor to assure timely application and access to results. Works with the Director of Human Resources to coordinate Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment, Civil Rights, OSHA and Wage and Hour compliance and procedures. Assists with Coordinating FMLA with/for respective staff. Maintains position vacancies to assure current position availability is posted. Completes and carries out licensure surveys. Participates in job fairs, filing and all duties as assigned, Assists in the payroll completion. Maintains CARF standards in all assigned duties and activities. Attends at least 5 hours of training as related to the position per year. Completes other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
