Position Details

Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Waterdown, Ontario
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 1 shift per week (approximately 5 hours per shift; schedule may vary based on client needs)
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

HealthOPM is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to provide high-quality cleaning services in a private residence. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment while working independently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning windows.
• Clean and organize all areas of the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living spaces.
• Complete laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing, as required.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and handles.
• Assist with occasional errands or grocery shopping, if needed.
• Report any maintenance or repair concerns to management.
• Follow established health, safety, and cleaning standards.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is used and stored properly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (required)
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) issued within the past 6 months, or willingness to obtain one.
• Previous housekeeping or residential cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, professional, trustworthy, and respectful.
• Physically able to perform housekeeping duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
