Part-Time Housekeeper

Division/Program:

(Children/Youth 24/7 Inpatient)Psychiatric Health Facility

Starting Compensation:

21.00 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Bakersfield, CA

Working Hours/Shift:

Saturday and Sunday 7am-4pm

What you bring to SBHG:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • (6) months housekeeping experience in a hospital, hotel, motel, or similar work environment preferred.

How you will make a difference:

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. Duties include cleaning and maintaining floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, walls, and waste receptacles; replenishing supplies; moving furniture as needed; and properly using and maintaining cleaning equipment. The individual will follow all cleaning, safety, and infection control procedures and communicate any maintenance or supply needs to their supervisor while reporting any damaged equipment or furniture requiring repair.

Division/Program Overview:

  • Population Served (Capacity): Children/Youth (ages 5-17), dealing with acute psychiatric symptoms.
  • Facility & Setting:16 bed facility, inpatient Psychiatric Health Facility.
  • Clinical Services (Core): Moves clients through five phases: admission; engagement; learning; stabilization and linkage to resources and aftercare.
  • Length of stay: Length of stay is typically up to 72 hours. Stay may be extended, if additional evaluation or treatment is needed.
  • Skills & Services: Intensive treatment programs with individualized care plans.
