About Our Family
We're a fun-loving, creative family based in the heart of Los Altos. Our household runs with a lot of heart and a healthy dose of organized chaos. We have two energetic boys (ages: 5 & 8) who are full of personality. We also have a cherished senior standard poodle who is wonderful with people and is a beloved part of our family.
We believe in letting kids be kids: active, curious, independent, and a little wild in the best possible way. We embrace a 'figure it out' approach to raising our boys, and we love people who can roll with that energy while still being the grounding, trustworthy adult in the room.
One parent is home managing the household day-to-day, including meals, school commutes, and general family logistics. The other teaches art several times a week through a local school program. We’re looking for a capable, proactive partner who can help us build better systems, manage multiple properties, support childcare, and generally make the home run more smoothly.
We love to travel as a family and do so frequently throughout the summer and during school breaks. We travel both domestically and internationally, and we're looking for someone who is flexible and, ideally, open to joining us on the road.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You are someone that prioritizes building and nurturing trusted relationships. Steady, thoughtful and capable of stepping into a busy household with maturity and confidence. You're the kind of person who walks into a room and immediately sees what needs to be done without being told. A natural self-starter, you’re deeply organized and genuinely enjoy creating systems that actually work. Whether it's a perfectly labeled closet, a tidy digital calendar, or a smooth handoff between vendors, you can handle it all with ease. With a project-manager for the home mindset, you're tech-savvy, comfortable with spreadsheets, and know how to research and compare options efficiently.
You bring enthusiasm and grounded energy with kids. You can get on the floor and play the floor is lava one minute and calmly hold a firm boundary the next. Experienced enough to know how to be the fun, trusted adult without losing your footing when two lively boys push limits. You have a great sense of humor, genuine warmth, and a natural ability to connect with kids while keeping things on track.
You're equally comfortable managing a to-do list as you are coordinating vendors, tackling an organizational overhaul, or handling a property check-in 90 minutes away. You’re the kind of person who can be trusted to hold the details, communicate clearly and follow through without needing constant oversight. Experience managing multiple properties or working in a high-functioning private household is a strong plus.
