Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate to work at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites. The schedule for this position is some weekday evenings 3:45pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am-2:30pm or 3:45pm-7:30pm, including holidays, for a total of approximately 12-16 hours/week. Flexibility to work either of those two shifts is required. The duties of this position require candidates be at least 18 years old.
This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips) plus $1,000 Hiring Bonus (conditions apply)*. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.
Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
