Job Description

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Food Runners to support our dinner service aboard a scenic harbor cruise. This role is essential to maintaining smooth service flow and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, on-the-water environment.

This is a part-time position with only night shifts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Transport food from the galley to dining areas promptly and accurately
  • Ensure proper presentation and correct delivery of all dishes
  • Assist servers with table service as needed
  • Clear plates and reset tables between courses
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous food service experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds consistently up and down stairs throughout shifts
  • Comfortable working in a moving vessel environment
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
  • Availability for evening and night shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
