
St. Mary's University of San Antonio, a private, Catholic and Marianist university invites applications for a part-time instructor (term) position in the Department of Environmental Science & Sustainability beginning January 2027. We are seeking a professional with experience working in the discipline of environmental policy and regulation to teach a 3-semester hour class titled ES 3320 - Environmental Policy and Regulation. The course is required for all Environmental Science majors and will be offered during the Spring 2027 semester.

currently employs 3 full-time faculty and two adjunct faculty. Faculty teach courses for undergraduate majors as well as other undergraduate students at the university. Class sizes in the department are small with an average student-faculty ratio of 16:1. The department is active in undergraduate research and strives to provide students with a multidisciplinary education. Faculty are invested in positively impacting students' lives through strong mentorship, exemplary teaching and commitment to community and industry engagement.
