NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time instructors in Educational Outreach and Events for the Bicycle Technician Program. This position combines classroom and lab instruction with representing the college and the Bicycle Technician Program at cycling-related events throughout the region and beyond. Applications will be kept on file for the fiscal year ending June 30. When a position becomes available, the hiring department will review the applications on file. After each fiscal year end, the application will expire and a new application must be completed to remain in the applicant pool. The Part-Time Faculty for Educational Outreach and Events provides instruction in the Bicycle Technician Program while also serving as a representative of NorthWest Arkansas Community College at cycling-related events, community outreach activities, and educational programming. This individual will support classroom and lab-based learning, contribute to curriculum delivery, and attend events including, but not limited to, NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) championships, World Cyclocross events, Bike Fest, summer camps, clinics, and other cycling community gatherings. The position requires an individual who demonstrates strong teaching ability and can also serve as an excellent ambassador for the college, engaging prospective students, industry partners, and the broader cycling community with professionalism, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the Bicycle Technician Program.
