Job Description

The Department of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University offers undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in computer science and related fields in the Bronx and Manhattan campuses. For information about the department, visit our website

The department invites applications for multiple adjunct positions to start in Fall 2023.

  • Incumbents are expected to teach up to 2 courses per semester (on-campus or non-online or in dual-modality). The course list includes:
    • Undergraduate classes: C Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Databases, Cybersecurity, Forensic Computing
    • Graduate classes: Machine Learning, Big Data Computing

All graduate courses and some undergraduate courses are offered in the evening, and meet once a week. All classes are capped at thirty.

Qualifications

The positions require a M.S. in Computer Science or related fields or B.S. with relevant industrial or teaching experience, a commitment to teaching excellence, and excellent communication skills.
