Nebius Academy is an international online learning platform helping engineering teams and business professionals master data-driven technologies. We build hands-on, industry-relevant programs for B2B audiences — combining analytical depth with real-world business application. Our Data Analytics curriculum covers the full analytics workflow: from Python fundamentals and statistical reasoning to data wrangling, visualization, and communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders — applied to real business problems.

Who are we looking for?

We are building a talent pool of experienced Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Analytics Consultants for ongoing roles as Instructors, Authors, and Subject Matter Experts in our Data Analytics educational programs.

We are looking for specialists across the following areas: Statistical Data Analysis, Data Wrangling, The Basics of Python for Data Analysis, Soft Skills for Data Analysts, and adjacent analytics topics.

A strong candidate doesn't just know their stack deeply — they actively apply data analytics in real-world projects and can translate complex concepts into practical, teachable content. We prioritize hands-on experience with tools and workflows such as Python (pandas, NumPy), data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly), statistical analysis, data cleaning and transformation pipelines, business intelligence tools, or similar. The ability to teach others how to extract actionable insights and communicate findings to business stakeholders is what sets our experts apart.

Role levels we're hiring across:

Junior level — Instructors Ideal background: Junior Data Scientist, Data Analyst 1–3 years in data analysis or analytics consulting. You're comfortable with Python (pandas), data cleaning, basic statistics, and data visualization. In your sessions, you guide students through real datasets, help them develop analytical intuition, and connect their work to business decisions.

Mid level — Authors Ideal background: Data Scientist, Analytics Consultant 3–6 years producing business insights from data. You specialize in exploratory data analysis, statistical reasoning, and data storytelling. As a course author, you explain analytical choices and their business implications, and help learners communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Senior level — Subject Matter Experts Ideal background: Analytics Director, AI Consultant 6+ years in analytics, including leadership and data strategy experience. You've worked across business functions and can speak credibly to data-driven decision making at the organizational level. You contribute to curriculum design and ensure our programs reflect current industry standards.

These are Talent Pool positions — we continuously review applications and build our roster of experts. This means there may not be an immediate opening at the time you apply, but strong candidates will be added to our talent pool and contacted as relevant opportunities arise.

You can join us on a part-time basis (~10–15h/week), contributing as an instructor leading live sessions and workshops, as a course author creating learning materials, or as a subject matter expert supporting curriculum development. Teaching sessions are compensated separately.

Compensation: $40–150/hour, depending on experience and format of collaboration.

What you will do

Available Roles

We are building a talent pool of Instructors, Authors, and Subject Matter Experts for our Data Analytics educational programs. We hire on an ongoing basis across the following specializations:

Instructor You will lead live, hands-on training sessions for data practitioners and business professionals, helping them apply analytical concepts and tools to real-world business problems.

• Conduct live, interactive training sessions and workshops
• Prepare practical workshop scenarios and training materials in collaboration with our Instructional Designer
• Develop reusable materials: dataset-based exercises, analysis walkthroughs, challenge tasks, and reference guides
• Work with the curriculum team to ensure alignment between asynchronous and live content
• Communicate with students during Q&A sessions
• Review and incorporate learner feedback to continuously improve session design

Author You will create the core educational content for our Data Analytics courses — from structure and learning objectives to lessons, assessments, and final projects.

• Collaborate with us to define the course structure and learning objectives for each module
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive content: lessons, manuals, guides, session outlines, and assessments
• Prepare content in multiple formats: text, draft slides, and screencasts
• Participate as a speaker in learning videos
• Design the final project for the course
• Work iteratively with instructional designers to improve content quality
• Ensure all content meets industry standards and aligns with course objectives
• Contribute to content updates based on student feedback analysis
• Optional: participate as an instructor in live sessions — compensated separately

Subject Matter Expert You will shape the strategic direction of our Data Analytics curriculum, ensuring our programs reflect real business needs and current industry practice in data analysis and analytics consulting.

• Define topic priorities for Data Analytics learning programs targeting data analysts, analytics consultants, and adjacent business-facing roles
• Decompose data analytics skills into competency maps, mastery frameworks, and learning roadmaps
• Review course structures and content for technical accuracy, practical relevance, and alignment with learning outcomes
• Act as an internal authority for the Curriculum team — translating market needs and analytics trends into program strategy
• Support the selection and evaluation of external authors and experts
• Monitor emerging analytics tools, frameworks, and workflows; convert insights into recommendations for new or updated programs

⌛ All roles are part-time: 10–15 hours per week.

Requirements

Subject Matter Expert

• Strong hands-on expertise in data analytics, statistical analysis, or analytics consulting — with a track record of driving business decisions through data
• Ability to evaluate real-world analytics tools, methodologies, and workflows — and distinguish practical approaches from hype
• Experience structuring complex analytical knowledge into competency maps, frameworks, skill decompositions, or curriculum logic
• Ability to review technical learning content critically and provide clear, structured feedback to authors and internal stakeholders
• Seniority level that allows autonomous work after onboarding, with strong ownership and minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly to mixed stakeholders
• Availability to collaborate within European time zones
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Russian or Spanish is a strong plus

Author

• 3–6 years of professional experience in data analysis, data science, or analytics consulting, with a strong focus on statistical reasoning, data wrangling, or business-oriented data storytelling
• Solid knowledge of Python and core analytics stack: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn, and familiarity with statistical analysis libraries
• Hands-on experience extracting and communicating business insights from real-world datasets — with concrete cases and measurable impact
• Proven track record in knowledge sharing, mentoring, analytics advocacy, or public communication of data findings
• Strong desire to share knowledge and explain complex concepts in a clear, comprehensible way
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a content area
• Strong attention to detail
• Availability to dedicate approximately 10 hours per week to collaboration
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Russian or Spanish is a strong plus

Instructor

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis or analytics consulting, with hands-on practice in Python-based data work, statistical analysis, and data visualization
• Solid knowledge of core analytics stack: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn, and basic statistical methods
• Hands-on experience working with real-world datasets and translating analytical findings into business context
• Ability to translate analytical concepts into actionable, engaging learning experiences for professional audiences
• Confident, collaborative, and audience-oriented facilitation style
• Background in mentoring, tutoring, or peer knowledge sharing is a strong plus
• Strong preparation habits and time management; able to commit 10–15 hours per week
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Russian or Spanish is a strong plus
