In this role, you will play a key part in accurately transcribing audio recordings into clear, professional documents that support our operations. As part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you’ll help ensure information is captured with precision and efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our team.

This position is on-site at our Sarasota office and is not a remote role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Transcribe recorded dictation into clear, accurate, and well-formatted business documents, including memos, letters, and agendas

• Review and edit drafts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in tone and formatting

• Identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, or missing information within source materials

• Maintain strong organization and time management to meet deadlines and support team needs

THIS ROLE IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

• Have strong listening and typing skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Are proficient in grammar, punctuation, and professional business writing standards
• Can interpret spoken content clearly and translate it into polished, well-structured documents
• Are highly organized and able to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
• Are comfortable working independently and maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information
• Are dependable, responsive, and able to communicate effectively with team members

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and transcription software, familiarity with transcription tools and equipment (e.g., foot pedal preferred), experience with transcription, and a full command of the English language and grammar are essential
• Proven track record of professional transcriptionist experience
• Strong typing skills in combination with speed and demonstrated transcription accuracy
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Dedicated to meeting project deadlines in a timely manner
• Ability to follow a specific style guide

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• General sedentary work requiring the use of office equipment such as computers, copiers, printers, scanners, and
• Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, grasping, writing, typing, repetitive motions, hearing ability, visual acuity, and climbing stairs on occasion
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Some driving will be required
• Ability to work on-site, in an office setting
