Job Role: Part-Time Executive Assistant - Sales

Compensation range: $800 USD - $1,200 USD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to require roughly 20 hours per week. As a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your schedule, but availability for occasional collaboration during the client’s European business hours is preferred (WEST).

For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: It is an international business events company that organises specialist conferences for professionals and organisations across the financial technology and digital finance sectors. Their events bring together senior professionals, industry experts, technology providers and other key stakeholders from different markets. The business operates across Europe and Asia, with a focus on building strong industry partnerships and creating valuable opportunities for sponsors, speakers and delegates.

Role Overview: We are looking for a Part-Time Executive Assistant to provide a mix of executive, administrative, sales and partnership support. You’ll help manage communications, follow up with contacts, support sponsor and delegate outreach, and keep various tasks and opportunities moving forward. The role suits someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working independently, particularly when it comes to following up and keeping track of loose ends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to emails, including following up with contacts as needed
• Conduct outreach to prospective sponsors, partners and delegates
• Follow up with existing and prospective contacts to keep conversations moving
• Maintain and update contact lists using Excel
• Support partnership and sponsorship acquisition activities
• Create speaker banners and accompanying copy for upcoming events
• Track outstanding tasks, follow-ups and other loose ends
• Provide general executive and administrative support
• Use LinkedIn and other available tools to research and connect with relevant contacts
• Take ownership of routine follow-ups and tasks with minimal supervision as you become familiar with the business

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined experience in executive assistance, sales, business development, partnerships, events, or similar roles
• Strong written and spoken English with the confidence to communicate naturally in live conversations
• Experience with email communication, follow-ups and professional outreach
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of details
• Proactive and comfortable working independently without constant supervision
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and LinkedIn
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on outstanding tasks
• Previous experience in sponsorship, partnerships, sales, business development or conference/event acquisition is highly desirable
• Able to work with a high level of trust, accountability and initiative
• Experience in fintech, digital currency or financial services is a plus, but not essential.
